How cold was it at your place this morning?

How cold was it at your place this morning? I can't stand that question. I was asked it today by the one guy in the office who makes the ambient air temperature at everyone's residence a competition.

I don't why it's something he likes to brag about if the air is two degrees colder at his house than it was at the guy's in the next cube. It is not an accomplishment. He didn't make the air two degrees cooler.

Seriously people. Stop bragging about the cold. You live in a house that's well insulated and heated by a furnace that runs automatically. It's not impressive.

I told him it was the same temperature as it always every morning, 64.
