Liberal Media 101: Keep Millennials Busy by Being Angry Over Nothing

Facebook's trending sidebar makes me laugh at times. I find it pretty interesting what they decide to place there to encourage their agenda pushing outrage.

Take for example a link they were pushing to a billboard.com article about how some gospel singer was refusing to apologies for calling gays perverted.

First off, how is that news in the first place? Is it really something to be surprised by? A gospel singer does not share the politically correct "we all must accept everyone for everything or else your a racist, sexist, fill-in-the-blank-phobe" mentality. Well, knock me over with a feather. I am shocked and outraged by what I should expect from a gospel singer. Why did billboard.com even post an article like this in the first place? Why should anyone care? Secondly, why is Facebook pushing this non-news news in it's click bait trending side bar in the first place?

The answer is simple. To work up the simple minded social justice warriors, of course. Let's ignore the real issues in the world around us, and focus our pity intolerant spiteful anger at people whom we disagree with. That is the liberal media way after all.

Keep the Millennials busy by being angry over nothing, so they'll ignore the real issues. That way they can keep as many of them as possible in the camp when the grow up not knowing any better.
